Breaking the Myths of the Modern Job Search
- After going through a job search, James Warda was asked by his Job Seekers Accountability Group Leader to write a one-page document about the lessons he learned.
- Being a writer (and a bit verbose), his document, Breaking the Myths of the Modern Job Search: 48 Lessons Learned on How to Find a Job and Yourself Along The Way, came out to be a little longer -- 29 pages, to be exact.
- Why longer? Because James wanted to share as much as he could about a process that can make us feel all the ways we don't want to... like something's wrong with us, that we don't belong, that we don't have much to offer, etc. Most of all, that we're on the outside looking in.
- He now shares the guide below freely and frequently wherever he can, so please feel free to do the same.
- Learn more about James at www.jameswarda.com and please let him know at jwarda7@comcast.net if the guide has been helpful, the lessons you've learned, etc. Thank you.
